When my son began his NCAA recruitment journey, we quickly realized how overwhelming the process was—especially as Canadians. Unlike American athletes, we didn’t have easy access to recruiting events, NCAA-approved course lists were hard to find, and understanding the right steps to take felt like solving a puzzle with missing pieces.

We spent countless hours researching, emailing coaches, figuring out eligibility rules, and calculating costs—all on our own. What we found was that the information was scattered, the process was confusing, and full-service recruiting agencies were expensive—sometimes costing thousands of dollars upfront.
