Collegiate Goals was built from a real Canadian family's NCAA journey. Founder Kyle Hockridge created it after navigating the process with his own son, an Ontario soccer player who went on to play NCAA soccer in New York. Their family ran into confusing Canadian course codes, NCAA core-course rules, and GPA conversion issues, which became the foundation for the tools and reviews offered today. In 2025, Collegiate Goals was also invited by a major NCAA Division I university to participate in a formal research study on international athlete recruitment pathways. Collegiate Goals is an education and planning platform, not a recruiting agency, and final eligibility decisions remain with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
